When using AI-generated information, remember that it may not always be accurate or up to date. Always check important facts against trusted sources, particularly when making decisions about your health, finances, legal matters or other significant issues.
Recognising AI-generated content
AI can now create realistic text, images, audio and video that can be difficult to distinguish from content created by people. While much of this content is legitimate, AI can also be used to create misleading information, impersonate people or manipulate images and videos.
You don't need to become an expert to recognise AI-generated content, but it helps to question unusual claims, look for trusted sources, check whether content has been labelled as AI-generated and verify important information before sharing or acting on it.
